Second Italian Conference on the Ctnnb1 Syndrome

The CTNNB1 ITALY ODV, the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) and the Giannina Gaslini Institute are pleased to announce the 2nd CTNNB1 Italian Conference, that will be held on 19th and 20th June 2026 in Genoa, at “Villa Quartara”.

The fundamental objective is to deepen knowledge of the Syndrome caused by the mutation of the Ctnnb1 gene, continuing, as in the previous edition, to focus attention on the integration between scientific research and clinical and rehabilitative treatments.

Speakers will include italian researchers from the Giannina Gaslini Institute and the Italian Institute of Technology, researchers from foreign countries who have launched various types of projects (gene/pharmacological therapy) on CTNNB1 Syndrome, and Italian medical specialists from the Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital and the Agostino Gemelli Foundation University Hospital, in Rome.

With Flixbus (https://www.flixbus.it/), you can reach Acri from major Italian and European cities.

  • From Milan: A7 motorway (Milan-Genoa) or A12 (direction Livorno); exit at Genova Nervi or Genova Est; follow signs for the sea/Quarto dei Mille.
  • From Turin: take the A21/E70 motorway towards Piacenza/Genoa, then take the A7 towards Genoa until the Genova Nervi exit; follow the signs for Corso Europa/Quarto/Gaslini.
  • From Rome: take the A12/E80 motorway (Autostrada Azzurra) north to Genoa, then follow the signs for the Quarto/Quarto dei Mille district.
