1st CTNNB1 Italia Conference

The CTNNB1 ITALY ODV, Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) and Gaslini Institute are organizing the 1st CTNNB1 Italia Conference.

The event will be held in person and online on 6th and 7th September 2024 in Acri (CS), at Palazzo Sanseverino-Falcone, under the patronage of the Municipality of Acri.

Primary objective for this conference is to integrate both the fundamental research aspects and clinical dimensions of the CTNNB1 syndrome.

Researchers from the Gaslini Institute and the IIT will take part as speakers, as well as researchers from foreign countries and Italian medical specialists from the main pediatric hospitals in Italy will also be present.

How to Participate in the Conference

If you are an academic or a healthcare professional and would like to participate in the Conference by presenting a poster, please submit your abstract.

Deadline for abstract submission: July 31, 2024.
Deadline for registration for in-person participation: July 31, 2024.
Deadline for registration for online participation: August 5, 2024.

The latter registration includes access to all live sessions through a virtual platform.
The link for online access will be provided a few days before the event and will be associated with the email address provided during registration.

The Conference will be held in the beautiful town of Acri, Cosenza, at “Palazzo Sanseverino-Falcone”, Piazza Giovanni Falcone, 1, 87041 Acri (CS).

HOW TO REACH ACRI

By Plane:
The nearest airport to Acri is Lamezia Terme Airport (SUF), which is 112 km away. Other recommended airports are Naples (NAP), which is 235.6 km away, Brindisi (BDS) (184.7 km), and Bari (BRI) (184.9 km).

By train:
With Trenitalia, the nearest station is Castiglione Cosentino (35.19 km from Acri).

By bus:
With Flixbus (https://www.flixbus.it/), you can reach Acri from major Italian and European cities.

By car:

  • From Lamezia Terme (1 hour and 38 minutes):
    Take the A2/E45 motorway towards Corso Italia/SS19 delle Calabrie/SP241. Exit from the A2/E45 at Taverna. Take the SP248 and then the SS660 towards Acri.
  • From Naples (3 hours and 25 minutes):
    Take the A3 + A2 motorways towards the SS19 to the Tarsia Sud exit. Continue on Contrada Soverano and on SS660 towards Acri.
  • From Bari (3 hours and 7 minutes):
    Take the E847 to Castellaneta + SS106 to Corigliano-Rossano + SP186 to Acri.
  • From Brindisi (3 hours and 11 minutes):
    Take the SS7 + SS106 to Corigliano-Rossano + SP186 to Acri.
